Educational Qualification for Gujarat High Court Jobs:
- Candidate must possess a Degree in Law from a University recognized by law in India.
- Candidate must be a Practising Advocate in Courts of Civil and/or Criminal jurisdiction on the last date fixed for Submission of Online Applications and must have so practiced for a period not less than Seven Years, as on the last date fixed for submission of the Online Application.
- Candidate must possess Basic Knowledge of Computer Application/ Operation
Age limit for Gujarat High Court Recruitment 2022-23:
The age of the candidate should be between 35-48 years as on 4th May, 2022. However, the upper age limit is relaxable as per existing Govt. rules.
Application Fee:
General OBC- NCL/ EWS candidates have to Pay Rs.1500/ plus Bank Charges and Rs.750/- and Bank Charges are required to paid by the Candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes, Socially & Educationally Backward Classes, Orthopedically Disabled Persons and Ex-Servicemen Categories through Online Mode.
Selection Process:
Eligible candidates will be required to appear for Preliminary Examination (Elimination Test), Main Written Examination (Descriptive Type), Viva–voce Test (Personal Interview).
Examination Syllabus
For Preliminary Examination (Elimination Test) (Tentatively scheduled on 3rd July, 2022).
The Preliminary Examination (Elimination Test) shall consist of 2 Papers, (each of 100 Marks & 2 Hours’ duration) consisting of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) each of 01 Mark and would be based on the following Syllabus:
- Paper-I : Law (100 Marks – 2 Hours)
- Paper-II : English, General Knowledge & Awareness (100 Marks – 2 Hours)
- Paper-III: Test of Gujarati Language: (Marks 50 – Duration 1½ Hours)
Main Written Examination:
Main Written Examination (Descriptive Type) : (Tentatively Scheduled on 07/08/2022)
The Main Written Examination (Descriptive Type) shall consist of Two Papers (each of 100 Marks & 3 Hours’ duration), based on the Syllabus:-
- Paper – I (100 Marks – 3 Hours)
- Paper-II (100 Marks – 3 Hours)
Paper Style for Main Written Examination
- Paper-I (Criminal)
- Paper-II (Civil)
Viva–voce Test (Personal Interview):
Viva–voce Test (Personal Interview): (Tentatively scheduled in the month of September/ October 2022).
(i) Viva-voce Test shall be of 50 Marks.
Salary:
Pay Scale of Rs.51,650-1240-59,090-1390-63-,260+ Allowances as Admissible under the Rules.
